The Homemade Christmas

So earlier I shared a gift guide for the non-materialistic person in your life but now it’s time to talk about homemade gifts. I put this list together for the crafty and not so crafty alike.

1. Fudge (cut into cute designs using a cookie cutter)
2. Homemade bath salts and bath bombs.
3. A peppermint sugar scrub
4. Hot chocolate kits.
5. A soft winter scarf.
6. Personalized Christmas ornaments
7. Vanilla extract from scratch
8. Homemade bbq rubs and sauces
9. Quilts
10. Hair bows and headbands

11. Decorated mugs
12. Unique olive oils (try infusing them with lavender!)
13. A toddler’s “quiet book”
14. No-sew fleece blanket (perfect for the sewing machine inept ;D )
15. Shea butter or coconut oil body lotions (use essential oils for different scents!)
16. Decopaged picture coasters
17. Scrapbooks
18. Felt toys
19. Candles
20. “Coupon” books (think: one free babysitting night, one for shoveling the snow)
21. Framed artwork or photography if you’re artistic!

Pinterest is of course a great place to get even more ideas. Some of these take more time and effort than others (like the vanilla extract needs several weeks to prepare) but some can be done in a single afternoon.  Good luck!
