My sweet little chubby cheeked baby will be two-weeks-old on Tuesday & I marvel in her appetite. Her appointment will be on the 6th and I am positive they will confirm her weight is, at minimum, back to it's original 9lbs 15oz. Last night I had a change of heart when it came to exclusive breast-feeding and let daddy and grandma give Rose some formula while I got some sleep (I didn't realize how sleep-deprived I was but it finally hit me). I had pumped earlier but it wasn't enough to satiate her (+3oz's...). But that doesn't mean I don't want to continue trying with this whole breast-feeding thing. My goal is to go for 8 months, hopefully a year but I'm quickly learning to not get hung up on following "my child-rearing plan". As my birthing experience proved, it's great to know what you want but in the end you only have so much control.
