On the wall is a little nursery rhyme that my mom made. You can't see it very well but she drew a cute little lady bug that looks like it's marching along the picture frame. It makes me smile. So does the set of nature & teacups decals throughout her room. We were going for a garden tea party theme throughout the nursery. <3

Daddy put together the shelves (and pretty much everything else...) but the decorating was me! I admit to going a bit crazy in trying to make the shelves look nice. And by crazy I mean spending an hour and a half rearranging books. That's kinda normal right? Right? In the end I couldn't find a way to put
all of her books on the shelf so there is still more not pictured and currently in the closet.
Books are really important to me and before I knew whether we were having a boy or a girl, I spent my time browsing the children's book aisles. Growing up, my mom fostered a pretty healthy appetite for reading in me and one of the most distinct memories I have of my childhood bedroom was the wall length shelving that bowed in the middle from the weight of all my books.
I can only hope to instill the same love of stories in Rose!
