We had a pretty relaxed weekend. Saturday, while the boys went hiking Rose, Grandma and I made our first real trip together (because going to the DMV did not count, just thinking about that makes me go ugh). Although it was a bit windy, the sun was out and it was perfect weather for a little stroll around the La Cantera open-air mall . All of San Antonio must have had the same idea because it was very crowded!
I didn't get anything, not even in Anthropologie and that happens to be my favorite store. Still far from my pre-pregnancy figure, it was a "look-but-don't-touch" experience as I drooled over some of the new dresses they had in stock.
We grabbed some delicious red velvet cheesecake at the cheesecake factory for a little pick-me-up before meeting up for dinner later on at papasito's with the boys.
Sunday came to quickly and we had to say goodbye as Grandma headed back to Oklahoma after her monthlong stay with us. We are all a bit sad to see her go but so grateful for the help and company. She made the transition for particularly Rose and I, much easier. And luckily, both her and the rest of the family are only an 8-hour car ride away!
