Over the weekend we enjoyed the sunshine and headed out to the Helotes Market Place. It's a monthly festival held at my favorite spot here in San Antonio, the Helotes Antique Village. I am just so enamored with it's charming atmosphere, I could probably go there every day and never get bored. The shop owners are always extremely friendly and warm, not to mention there is a treasure trove of vintage goodies. If you ever get the chance, I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.
In other news, in case you didn't catch the post over the weekend Stephen and I got engaged! It's truly an exciting time for our little family and I hope in the coming months I can share more of our journey here on Mama Mermaid. I will continue to talk about going green as a family but also there will be upcoming posts on planning an eco-friendly wedding as well! To my friends and family I thank you for joining us on this adventure.
