It’s no secret that I long to travel. I am thrilled by the
prospect of visiting far off places, trying strange food and meeting new
people. I think back to the summer I lived in Japan as a teenager and how
life-changing it was for me. My days spent roaming the streets of Osaka and
getting lost on the labyrinth-like subway system gave me a sense of
independence and helped me find my inner adventurer.
Fast forward to the present, the world map above my desk is a reminder of the places I wish to someday see. I used to have this vision of me with nothing but a backpack, a journal and a camera as I went from country to country. But now I see a more beautiful future ahead and that is one where I get to travel with my family.

I too love to travel. But the last 3 years have been a wirlwind for me with not 1 but 2 babies. I have a 2.5 little girl and a 16 month little baby girl so travelling around the world has been postponed a bit. Great blog. I nominated you for the Liebster Award. Check out my blog for details.
