Thank you Savy Suburban Mom for nominating my
blog for the Liebster award. I appreciate the support very much! Below are my
responses to your questions.
Questions
1.
What is your go to dinner meal? My “wicked jambalaya” is a
fan favorite in our house and probably my signature dish if I were to have one.
2.
What is the high of your day? Getting everything on my
to-do list done! It is such a satisfying feeling!
3.
What is your favourite vacation destination? Hard to say! I think I
would most love to visit Peru but as far a “vacation destination” maybe make a
trip back to Honolulu and relax on the beach.
4.
What advice would you give to new or expectant moms? Don’t
be too hard on yourselves. You won’t do everything perfectly but it doesn’t
matter, just do your best and relax!
5. If
you could live anywhere in the world, where would that be? Somewhere
rural. There are plenty of places I would love to visit but I think if I had to
settle anywhere it would have to be in the US.
6.
What’s your lucky number? 7
7.
What can you not live without? My family! On a superficial
level, probably coffee…
8.
Are you a cat or dog lover? Dog lover, hands down.
9.
What type of music do you listen to most? Alternative country
like the Avett Brothers or the Wheeler Brothers. Seasick Steve is another favorite
and so is Frontier Ruckus when I’m homesick for Michigan.
10.
What is your most prized possession? I really don’t have one
anymore. It used to be my heirloom pearl earrings but they were stolen. Now, I
just don’t put too much emotional attachment into things.
11.
Who influences you? Jesus Christ. I try to live my life as close to
his teachings as possible. My family is also a big influence in my life: I
would do anything for them.

You kick ass.
ReplyDeleteI am a HUGE fan of Del Torro, esp Devil's Backbone and some of his earlier stuff, although we do watch Hell Boy 2 and Blade 2 a lot!
ReplyDeleteDevil's Backbone is stunning and probably one of my favorites. I did a lot of research on him for a project once and he truly is an interesting man. I had a professor who told me they were neighbors growing up and that Del Toro was a nice guy if perhaps a little eccentric haha.
