Crafting

Lately I have had a surge of creative energy and I am channeling it with lots of little crafts. It’s funny how doing one small thing like decorating my agenda caused a chain reaction of projects. Like say, I finally found the patience to read my sewing machine manual and do what I said I have always wanted to do: Learn to sew!

Laugh if you want at my wonky looking cat doll…I know I have. Oh well, a girl has to start somewhere. I also made some bean bags (not pictured) and Rosie has been having a blast carrying them around and putting them in a little wicker basket. It's always interesting to me how children gravitate towards simple toys/ random objects. It's been one of my green mama goals to make our own clothes and toys so I am really happy with myself for having taken this first step.
