Exiting Stage Left

I don't want to put all my eggs in one basket & it is probably too soon to share but I have some exciting opportunities coming up and I seriously couldn't be happier. Yes, I know vague-blogging is obnoxious but I promise to share the details as soon as they become set in stone.

What I can say, and mostly definitely is cause for celebration, is that tomorrow marks my final day at work. I feel pretty triumphant, excited and just a bundle of jitters. I haven't been a civilian since I was 17. Holy smokes does time fly by! I am looking forward to closing this chapter in my life, to exiting stage left without a big to-do and simply...moving on.

I had a good talk with my command master chief, he was surprisingly sincere and I appreciate that he insisted sitting down with me for a chat. He didn't need to do that but I will definitely remember that he did.
