Sitting in the waiting room at l&d, a little lullaby broke the silence over the hospital intercom. Cue collective aw's from all the expectant mommies (and some of the daddies too). Someone just entered this world.
I looked to Stephen and we both smiled. 19 days, he reminded me. 19 days, give or take, until our own little girl gets here. It's so crazy to think about. I'm overwhelmed with the uncertainty of parenthood and this beautiful person who is coming into my life. I want to give her everything she deserves.
