Thrift Find: My Vintage Pyrex Collection Grows

I forgot to share some of my recent finds from before Christmas. My pyrex collection grew! I hit the jackpot by meeting a couple of vintage pyrex sellers at a shop I frequent and I just about died with joy at all the beauties. and couldn't stop raving about their selection. The sellers were so sweet and they even gave me a discount too (yes!)

I love the almost pearly shade of this dish, it's so exquisite and unique which is probably why it instantly caught my eye and my heart. Yes I fell in love with a piece of dinnerware, don't judge me.

And this cake dish was another favorite. I almost put it back in exchange for a couple more refrigerator containers in the Amish butter print (see more of my collection in that print here).

Safe to say I will be going back for a few more lovely things soon enough.

Thrift Finds: 1960's Juice Glasses

I am in love with these cheerful juice glasses. I found them on one of my recent thrifting adventures from the same seller with the amazing pyrex collection. They remind me of something I would expect to see at Anthropologie for 8 dollars a piece but lucky for me the set was altogether really cheap. All that is missing is the matching pitcher that had unfortunately already been sold separately.

Here are some other cute glasses I have come across recently:

As you can see my taste tends to gravitate towards bright and colorful.  I really adore the bold designs of 1960's kitchenware.

Thrift Finds: Pyrex & one really sweet dress

After months of searching in shops and debating whether to spend the money on a set from etsy, I finally found the turquoise butterprint dishes I have had my eyes on! Score! I also found a few goodies for the wedding: mint cotton napkins, a blush pink lace tablecloth, & a bunch of handmade doilies to be used in a future project.

I also may or may not have gotten this beautiful gown from the 50's:

I really love the delicate detail along the bodice. And it is such a pretty shade of pink too.
