Love the Fool

"I must learn to love the fool in me - the one who feels too much,
talks to much, takes too many chances, wins sometimes and
loses often, lacks self-control, loves and hates, hurts and gets hurt,
promises and breaks promises, laughs and cries. It alone protects meagainst that utterly self-controlled masterful tyrant whom I also harborand who would rob me of human aliveness, humility, and dignitybut for my fool."
(Theodore Isaac Rubin.)

Story-telling

I had to share this precious little gem. The mind of a child is a magical thing and I think as we get older so many of us lose touch with that brillaint imagination and delightful curiousity with the world. We get strung out on cigarettes and coffee, boring jobs and the drudgery of being an adult. My challenge to the world is to not forget what it's like to be young and try to seek out the magic in your daily life. Deal?
