Dreaming of a Costa Rican Paradise
I sort of disappeared, didn't I? Sorry about that. The trouble with planning a quickly-approaching wedding, going to school and taking care of a couple active kids (Jeremiah has joined us for the summertime!) is that it doesn't leave room for much else. But things are slowing down a little bit (maybe?) and I can finally make some time to write.
After much debate of where Stephen and I wanted to spend our honeymoon we finally settled on the beautiful Central American country of Costa Rica. Tickets have been bought and hotel rooms are booked and now I am just counting down the days until we are on our first journey as a married couple! When it came down to where we wanted to go it was Costa Rica's beautiful waters and luscious jungles that sold us. And the hippie in me was eager to support a country that is working to build it's ecotourism industry. We'll be staying near the Manuel Antonio National Park, ranked by Forbes as one of twelve prettiest national parks in the world. It is the perfect place for a couple of avid hikers like us.
