Despite feeling under the weather this week, it has been
otherwise a nice little break from drudgery of school work. I have been enjoying afternoons of catching up on books, watching My Fair Wedding (love Tutera!) and getting lots of extra cuddle time with the baby mermaid. We have a busy
summer ahead of us as a family so I am trying to soak up all the relaxation
before things get really hectic. Last week, Stephen and I had a small engagement party and it went
well! Good food and good conversations with great people is such an awesome combination. I enjoyed doing it so much that I kind of need an excuse to host another
party now, haha.
Engagement pictures are just around the corner and I am GIDDY with anticipation! We are going with this amazing photographer who will also be doing our wedding photos as well. She is extremely talented and I can’t wait to see what she comes up with for our session. In other news, we may have picked our venue too! More to come on that though ;)
