It took me an unexpected pregnancy, six years in the Navy and about a dozen notebooks worth of personal journaling to finally have a direction worth moving in. For the first time in my life I am embracing the uncertainty of the future with excitement instead of fear, with hope instead of doubt. The words tattooed on my arm read:
“I am the captain of my soul.”
And guess what?
I truly believe it.

ReplyDeleteLOVE it!! And how important is it for each of us to take in how we are each captains of our souls and fate? I'm a huge tattoo fan btw, I have I think 7 now. I'm into yantra at the moment, which typically men get and not women. They are so cool!!!
ReplyDeleteI think I have about 7 tattoos now myself. They start to sneak up on you =P I had to look up what Yantra was and I am glad I did, pretty neat stuff!
