Resolutions: Then & Now

Last year I made a modest list of things I wanted to do in the upcoming months. I know most people think New Years resolutions are silly but to me they are only silly if you don't intend to keep them! And as I shut the door on 2012 to welcome the changes of 2013, I couldn't help but feel some satisfaction that I accomplished those resolutions I had set for myself. Writing took an important role in my new life as a mother and I think that will only continue as I transition from the military to civilian world.

I thought long and hard about what I wanted from myself in the next twelve months and this is what I came up with. A list of my personal resolutions:

1. Volunteer in the community.
2. Read 12 books that are unrelated to school.
3. Explore a meaningful cause and write about it.
4. Travel to somewhere new.
5. And of course, be the best mama I can be for the Rosebud!
