MAMA MERMAID

I went outside with my cup of coffee the other morning and couldn't believe it, winter was finally here. The cold air greeted me along with this pretty view of the trees. There is something so mesmerizing to me about trees in the colder months. I love the way they stand so starkly bare and stripped of life, their branches stretching out into the bright blue sky. Mother Nature is a pretty beast.

In other news I finally bought The Last Child in The Woods by Richard Louv. It has been on my reading wish list for awhile now and I am looking forward to cracking it open just as soon as classes end and I finish up the last loose ends of my Navy career (yay!). It has been awhile since I posted a book review but I will be sure to write one when I can for this book along with a couple others.
