Itty Bitty Homes

When other kids dreamed of living in mansions, I always envisioned a future living in something small. Quaint. I like the idea of having just enough room and not being overrun with possessions. Which, let's face it, have habit of adding up when you have children.

I am fascinated by this movement of tiny homes. I think it is the simplicity that I find so intriguing but I really wonder how do they make it work? Having your bathroom right next to the kitchen sink is a little awkward to say the least. But I like that it must be freeing. It forces a person to strip themselves of things they don't need. I'm not sure I could do without a normal-sized kitchen however looking at floor plans for these itty bitty homes has me dreaming of enchanted cottages tucked away from the bustle of citylife. I would love to have something like this if only to be able to getaway once and awhile from the normal noise of suburbia.
