If you ever get a chance to visit Rochester Michigan in the autumn, I can't recommend enough paying a little visit to the Yates Cider Mill. Ask anyone in Michigan, when the temperature starts to cool off and just a hint of the colors changing in the trees it can only mean one thing: the season of cinnamon sugar donuts and fresh apple cider has arrived!
Aside from seeing family and friends, one of the things on my must-do list with Stephen when I took my southern man up North was to treat him to some truly delicious treats at Yates:
It was the perfect weather for the ocassion. Sunny, but the air was crisp and just cool enough that you could get by with a long-sleeved shirt. If only I could have brought that great clean air back with me to Texas!
We were definitely all-smiles that day!
